From Genetics To Patient Clustering

Diabetes is a global issue. Type 2 Diabetes is the most common form of diabetes. Around 90% of people with diabetes have Type 2 Diabetes. From disease onset until symptoms development, many people with undiagnosed diabetes already present comorbidities. We seek to study the early events of the disease and its comorbidities through the evaluation of human cohorts based on hypothesis driven genetics approach and data mining for the stratification of the population. Our goal is to translate datasets using a system medicine approach into new ways to understand and improve the life and therapeutic decisions that providers and patients make every day.
